Profile

I’m an iOS engineer at Zup Innovation, an engineering consultancy controlled by Itaú Unibanco. I work at Porto Bank, the banking arm of Porto Seguro, a group with 19 million customers. In the business onboarding squad, the team and I build the account-opening and product-access flows for companies, using Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit.

It’s a regulated environment. Data security, code review and CI/CD are part of the daily work. My twelve years as a lawyer help with the product’s compliance requirements, with discussing and applying the LGPD (Brazil’s equivalent of the GDPR) in development, and with communication, especially when a regulatory requirement has to become a product or engineering decision.

I’ve been building iOS apps since 2023. It started with PasseiOAB, a study app for Brazil’s bar exam, which I built with its team and which is on the App Store.

I also built The New Times on my own, a technology publication that I run from the product to the infrastructure.

Personal project developed with a team · iOS learning app

Study app for Brazilian law graduates preparing for the bar exam, published on the App Store. With the team, I developed Swift modules, wrote unit tests and maintained the module dependency diagram.

Published under the Apple Developer account of the app’s co-founder. Source is in a private repository, available on request.

Personal project · founder and sole engineer

I built The New Times on my own and run it. It runs on Next.js and Vercel. Autonomous Claude agents run the content pipeline, and every article gets human editorial review before it goes live. There are five sections in four languages.

The site has no ads, no tracking and no third-party scripts. I set that rule for privacy reasons.
